Level 1 BIM β the forgotten first step
When using a tool for the first time we always should aim to understand the basics of its logic. Starting with simple examples and explore it progressively is a good praxis in my opinion. Some tools are quite simple and adapt to our necessities immediately. Some a bit more complex require from ourselves to take a moment to understand how to integrate them. BIM is not an exception in this case. This tool rather than been a software is a methodology.
This is an interesting article of Bond Bryan BIM Blog about Level 1 in BIM for those who already started to navigate on the surface of the tool.
Also have a look to the NBS website to have a simple look to the different levels of using BIM.
